Winter Sonata
A knitting pattern by Elizabeth Sullivan
Originally designed for one of our workshops, Winter Sonata is now available as its own pattern. It's a good introduction to the Fair Isle technique, and the pattern is popular with both men and women who want a cozy hat and pair of matching mittens.

Yarn: DK weight yarn
150g (330 yds) in main colour and 50g (110 yds) in contrast colour
(Shown in Sweet Paprika Yarns Minuet in Moon Shadow and Steel Rail Blues)
Gauge: 22 sts and 32 rnds = 4" in St st using Size 5 (3.75mm) needles
