It’s useful as a hot plate, fruit tray or wall hanging. Willow weaving is a beautiful art and this is a relatively straightforward project perfect for an introduction to the craft. He has been making baskets poorly for over 15 years, and a few years ago began to take this passion more seriously. He has been tending a willow basketry garden for 5 years that now has some 1000 plants, and studies with the legendary Johnny Suderman of Lakeshore Willows, as well as various other teachers.
