Hand-dyed Yarn

Sweet Paprika offers a selection of hand-dyed and hand-painted luxury yarns. We usually dye in small batches, so if you'd like to place a large order, please contact us.

Due to the hand-crafted nature of these products, some variation will occur from skein to skein.

Vivace

Vivace is a self-striping yarn in our springy fingering weight superwash wool. This tightly spun yarn is designed with socks in mind, but could easily be adapted to other projects. We are always happy to take custom orders for self-striping yarn in your favourite colours!

Messa di Voce

Messa di Voce is hand-dyed with slight variations in colour to give a subtle texture to your knitting. This versatile, fingering weight yarn is 100% superwash merino wool and is suitable for anything from socks and gloves to lacework.

Minuet

Minuet is our DK weight 100% superwash merino yarn, suitable for a wide variety of projects including sweaters, shrugs, scarves, hats and mitts. Its soft and bouncy qualities make it a pleasure to knit with.

Dolce

Dolce is a DK weight, silk and merino wool blend. Each skein is hand-painted with carefully chosen colours that will complement each other in any project. This stunning yarn is soft to the touch and ideal to use for a scarf or shawl.

Arietta

One of our most luxurious yarns, Arietta is a light and airy lace weight wool and silk blend. Its subtle colour variation adds texture and depth to lace knitting, and the generous yardage makes it possible to knit a scarf with just 50g of yarn, or a shawl or stole with 100g.
