Eadgyth

DESIGNED BY DEBBIE SULLIVAN

Pattern Sizing and Materials

Perfect to wear over a sleeveless top or dress, this shrug uses short-rows to fit snugly over the shoulders and back. The pattern features a Saxon braid cable, and is named for Queen Eadgyth, a 10th century Saxon princess and granddaughter of Alfred the Great. Eadgyth is an early form of the contemporary name Edith, and is pronounced the same way.
