Intro to Embroidery: Meadow Bloom - May 24

Discover the joy of embroidery in this floral themed workshop designed for beginners!


Join Vic Lamontagne of Twin Folk for an afternoon of stitching and slow craft, learning the basics of embroidery with the Meadow Bloom design, a beginner favourite full of delightful blossoms. In this 2-hour workshop, you will learn 6 foundational embroidery stitches. All materials are provided (including pre-printed fabric, embroidery floss, and hoop), and you’ll take everything home to continue your stitching journey.

Beginners are welcome! No experience needed.

  • Date: Sunday, May 24, 2026
  • Time: 1-3pm
  • Location: Sweet Paprika Studio (4035 rue St-Ambroise, room 292, Montreal)
  • Fee: $75 + tax (includes all materials)
  • Language: This is a bilingual workshop (English & French)
  • This workshop is open to adults, and children 10+ accompanied by an adult participant
  • Workshop will run with a minimum of 3 and a maximum of 8 students.

Cancellation policy: We require payment in full in order to reserve a space. We have a 5-day cancellation policy. Your payment will not be refunded unless you cancel at least 5 days before the workshop start time. We reserve the right to cancel classes due to low enrollment. Should this occur, all class fees will be refunded.

About the Instructor

Vic Lamontagne is a Montreal-based embroidery artist and the founder of Twin Folk. She discovered embroidery a few years ago and was drawn to its slow, meditative rhythm. Through beginner-friendly workshops and thoughtfully designed kits, she shares that experience with others, creating space to slow down, get creative, and enjoy the process of making something by hand.
