Your Stranded Colourwork box will include two packets:
- Part 1 will include enough pre-wound yarn to jump in and start knitting some practice swatches right away, and links to the photo and video tutorials to guide you in your explorations.
- Part 2 will include the link to download the Toqueflake pattern by Faye Kennington, and two skeins of our Winfield worsted weight hand-dyed yarn (enough to knit two hats).
Debbie and Elizabeth will be your guides as you explore stranded knitting, and you'll be invited to join our private online discussion group where you can ask any questions you might have and share photos of your project!

Sizes
The pattern includes instructions for three sizes with finished measurements of 18¾ (20¾, 22¾)"/ 47.5 (52.5, 58) cm around and 8 (8¾, 9½)"/ 20.5 (22, 24) cm deep. To fit with 0-1"/ 0-2.5 cm negative ease.
Yarn
Worsted weight yarn:
94 (114, 127) yds / 86 (104, 116)m in main colour (MC)
49 (58, 63) yds / 45 (53, 58)m in contrast colour (CC)
Sample shown in Sweet Paprika Winfield (100% Canadian wool; 110g /4 oz; approx 224m/245 yds), 1 skein each in Orchid (MC) and Shiitake (CC).
There is enough yarn in the box to knit two hats.
Needles and notions
US 7 (4.5 mm) 16"/40cm circular US 6 (4mm) 16"/40cm circular needles and double-pointed needles, stitch marker, tapestry needle.
Gauge
23 sts and 24 rnds = 4" (10cm) with larger needles in stranded stockinette in the round, after blocking
