- Part 1 will include enough pre-wound yarn to jump in and start knitting some practice swatches right away, and links to the photo and video tutorials to guide you in your explorations.
- Part 2 will include the link to download the Staghorn Cowl/Hat pattern by Michele Lee Bernstein, and two skeins of our Andante worsted weight hand-dyed yarn.

Cowl Hat: 19"/48 cm circumference x 11"/28 cm tall.
Wider Cowl (no hat) only: 21"/53 cm circumference x 6.5"/16.5 cm (8.5"/21.5 cm) tall.

140 yds / 128m in main colour (MC)
66 yds / 60m in contrast colour (CC)
Sample shown in Sweet Paprika Andante (100% superwash merino wool; 110g /4 oz; approx 178m/195 yds), 1 skein each in Deep Purple (MC) and Jacaranda (CC).
Needles and notions
US 6 (4mm) 16"/40cm circular needles, crochet hook size G/4.25 mm for crochet chain drawstring, or US 8/5 mm 24"/61 cm circular for knit drawstring, stitch markers, tapestry needle.
Gauge
15.25 sts and 40 rnds = 4" (10cm) with larger needles in 2-colour brioche rib, after blocking
