Your Cable box will include two packets:
- Part 1 will include enough pre-wound yarn to jump in and start knitting some practice swatches right away, and links to the photo and video tutorials to guide you in your explorations.
- Part 2 will include the link to download the If You Give a Mouse a Cable pattern by Fatimah Hinds (Disturbing the Fleece), and two skeins of either our Cadenza sport weight or Minuet DK weight hand-dyed yarn.
Fatimah, Debbie and Elizabeth will be your guides as you explore cable knitting, and you'll be invited to join our private online discussion group where you can ask any questions you might have and share photos of your project!

Sizes
The pattern includes instructions for three sizes with finished measurements 7½ (8, 8½)" foot circumference.
Yarn
Sport or DK weight yarn: 1 skein (100g) each in two contrasting colours
DK Sample shown in Sweet Paprika Minuet (100% superwash merino wool; 100g /3½ oz; approx 200m/220 yds), 1 skein each in Grasshopper and Café au Lait.
Sport sample shown in Sweet Paprika Cadenza (100% blue-faced leicester wool, non-superwash; 115g /4oz); approx. 260m/284yds), one skein each in Raindrop and Portobello.
Needles and notions
US 3/3.25mm needles in the format you prefer for small circumference knitting, stitch marker, tapestry needle.
Gauge
21 sts and 16 rows = 2" (5cm), in the cable pattern, unstretched
12 sts and 17 rows = 2"(5cm), in Stockinette stitch
